Adobe has ramped up Ajax support from its Flex framework with some new JavaScript libraries which can benefit from flex data services. Ajax Data Services Library is being pre released along with the latest version of Flex framework which is expected somewhere in June.

So now more simple Ajax style rich web clients will be able to benefit from real time data streaming and publish capabilities. You can call Flex data services by a series of JavaScript libraries therefore even the most elementary Ajax mashups can look like data driven applications.

Adobe and Microsoft seems to be in a pitch battle to dominate Web 2.0 client and both of them are following the dual path of promoting their frameworks since they are very much aware that at some point of time Ajax will fizz out when enterprise class functionality would be required.
