Air for Linux alpha version is out now. Those of you who have been following Adobe closely, this is a cross operating system application runtime enabling developers to use Ajax, HTML, CSS, Flash and Flex for extending rich internet applications to desktop. There is no need for coming up with additional platform specific code and it offers access to branded desktop applications which before were only available to Windows and Mac users.

Since it's the alpha version you won't find all the features and as of now you can download the pre release alpha version from here. By the end of the year expect the complete version to be out and that too in other languages besides English.
