Ajax API/Custom Search Engine Search Box for Blogger

Blogging experience now gets even better with Blogger. A new page element feature – search box has been added in Blogger in draft which uses a combination of Google AJAX Search API and Google's Custom Search Engine for offering a truly different search experience for the blog.

It's quite easy to add it and it's similar to choosing widget and adding it to the template. The results would appear on the page without any need for page loading and one gets two TABS of which one of them is for the results from the blog and other for the sites linked to from the blog and one each for link on the sidebar such as favorite posts or blogroll. It's a cool feature to dynamically search over the content of the blog. Experience it over here.
