Ajax Is the Latest Fashion in Web Design

This is what David Mitchell Smith, V.P., research firm, Gartner had to say about Ajax at the Gartner's annual regional conference held in Tel Aviv- "Ajax is the latest fashion in Web design". Probably a few years one required a lot of money for creating Ajax web sites but now a number of toolkits are available. It is a rich client application and one does not require keeping on waiting as while the web site reloads one can drag and drop.
If one does not believe David then look at the facts - Yahoo Mail beta version and Gmail along with Google maps have already used Ajax.
