Up till now it was just AJAX around but now we have something called ARAX too. Microsoft is backing Asynchronous Ruby and XML or what we call ARAX. Using it Ruby developers will be able to deliver AJAX applications without putting JavaScript to use. With ARAX you won't have to use something like Ruby JavaScript utility where Ruby code needs to be written and JavaScript code is generated by RJS for running the client. Let's see whether ARAX has the potential to throw off ARAX from its position or not. I will let you know more about ARAX pretty soon.
