Beta release of GlassFish V2 is now out

Here comes the beta version of open source application server software from Sun meant for enterprise users. Their earlier version was aimed at developers and the beta version of GlassFish V2 which is the second version of Sun's open-source Java EE5 application server includes enterprise features from Sun's Java System Application Server Enterprise Edition such as administration and clustering.

It is expected that with this latest version developers would be deploying these applications on a bigger scale and there is a chance that glassfish would emerge as a primary application server. Besides this we also have the release of Sun Web Developer Pack aimed at building rich internet applications. Stay tuned from more action from the Sun's camp.
