Businesses Are Investing Finally
I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm incredibly busy latley. Something seems to be happening here that I have not seen in about fours years time. Companies are starting to spend money on those IT projects that have been on the back burner for so long. This is not something I'm forecasting or theorizing about. I'm seeing this with my own eyes and hearing from those business associates around me who are directly affected by it. The result of this is that I'm working crazy hours to try and keep up. Not that there is anything wrong with that because I'm benefiting from it. I hope this last for a long while.
What makes me nervous right now is iran and our current president here in the United States. This is a bad combination of personalities on both sides. I don't think many Americans pay much attention to what is happening in the world around them but I try to. The situation in Iraq is bad and will be for a long time. I think we have digested that situation and understand it. Iran and what it may take to resolve that situation will have secondary effects that will be life/economy changing for those of us in the United States and elsewhere. If things go bad there we are in for a ride that we will have no control over as has not happened since the 1970's.
Anyway, this is a little off topic for this blog and I don't have any control over the situation. My hope is that things will work themselves out somehow because the economy is looking better than it has in years.
