SPI Dynamics has shook hands with Microsoft for offering security tools for applications created using ASP.NET AJAX. Come December and DevInspect 3.0 would emerge as one of the first tools for analyzing and vulnerabilities in Atlas based applications. It will be offering automated and secure coding framework for Atlas developers.
Some of its features are as follows:
• Security analysis and automated vulnerability remediation of apps built with ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions, including partial-page-rendered content within UpdatePanel controls.
• runtime script interpretation and security analysis of the Microsoft AJAX Library
• Cross-platform script library that is available as part of ASP.NET AJAX Extensions
• Supports discovery of ASP.NET AJAX Web services calls and in-depth security analysis of underlying JSON and SOAP Web services
