At present Ajax is working to improve web experience for its users and tools like Dojo Ajax toolkit are aimed at simplifying Ajax for developers but this may not happen each time. To make Ajax more user friendly dojo.E extensions come into picture and they work towards making Dojo declarative so that it can be implemented by developers of all genre.

You all must be wondering what Dojo.E is? It is a small Javascript library on top of Dojo which enables mixing in markup language with HTML and you can even call it from external reference file. It can help both vendors and developers with their Ajax tooling efforts. In case Dojo library is upgraded it makes it easier for developers to switch out.

Dojo is now being widely associated with Ajax as it is being used in majority of toolkits since it has the support of big names such as AOL, IBM, Sun etc. At the end of the day dojo.E is expected to make open source Ajax framework further pleasing and declarative to majority of developers.
