Easier Access To Java Jobs

JavaJobs.com has made available their first version of what are some interesting web services. The site describes the service as follows:

... Free to developers and webmasters the web services provide an advanced communication mechanism to allow the affiliation of other websites to access the job postings and job board of JavaJobs.com.
I've never heard of JavaJobs.com before this news. Seeing this made me check out Dice and Monster and it appears as though JavaJobs.com is unique in providing this type of service.

One slightly annoying thing on their sample code page was that they only have an example in Active Server Pages (ASP) format. I'm not sure what the hell that is about since the site itself is called "JavaJobs.com." In addition to that it looks as though the site itself is using ASP and .NET. As I write this I'm thinking of the "eat your own dog food" type of scenario but I will give them a pass.

Anyway, from a social and technology prospective I like to see these different types of web services being made available. Once this type of information is out there developers can take advantage of it come up with some really interesting uses. I've looked around for some Mashups that may have taken advantage of this but was unable to find any uses yet. I hope to see some mashups soon.
