Elliptic Curve Cryptography interoperable across multiple platforms
Elliptic Curve Cryptography or ECC has been made interoperable across multiple platforms which include Linux, Windows and Solaris OS. Now the ECC products from the vendors will seamlessly integrate and offer end to end security for customers. ECC
Interoperability Forum has been joined by leading names such as VeriSign, RSA, Apache and Mozilla.

ECC is offering the same level of security as RSA and that too with smaller keys as it leads to memory and bandwidth savings coupled with faster computations. The association with Red Hat, Microsoft and Certicom has enabled the company to extend ECC interoperability to Windows, Linux and Solaris OS. Now it has become easier to garner the security and performance benefits resulting from ECC.
