The architect of Sun Microsystems technology, Sang Shin is offering a free AJAX course at the website www.javapassion.com/ajaxcodecamp/. The first session would be starting on 4th August and the course which is to be taught online would be covering a range of topics ranging from basic AJAX to integration with Java and using the Dojo JavaScript toolkit.
One can register for the course only through e-mail and syllabus of the course and some of the course material is already available on the site. The session would be for three months and half and it would be offered several times a year and students successfully completing the course would be getting an electronic version of Sang Shin's personal certificate.
The introduction of the course begins with introduction to AJAX and moves on to AJAX development proper before familiarizing with the frameworks and applications which are important to the contemporary internet- Google Web Toolkit, JSON, Sun's jMaki, Dojo Toolkit and Java Server Faces.
The requirements of the course are a one month experience with HTML, JavaScript and Java.

I think re-wording "The architect of Sun Microsystems technology" to "An architect of Sun Microsystems technology" or "A Java(tm) Technology Evangelist" would be appropriate.
