Generate a Privacy Policy for a Site

BlogPicture

I spent this evening researching Terms of Use and Privacy Policy considerations for a site I'm working on. I'm getting older, but I'm not sure about wiser, and the Wild West scenario is not what I'm looking for this time. Anyway, I'm not a legal expert but I wanted to include a basic statement until I get things settled because trouble is not what I'm looking for right now.

What did we ever do without the Internet? In the course of my reading and searching I found a site that allows a user to submit information about the type of user information being captured and what is being done with it. Based on that information a Privacy Policy can be generated for a site.

I checked out the site, and looks like its ideas are all agreeable to me.

I do not think, that that is so important. I, for example, do not care, wether you know my IP or not (I use proxy), or else. Of course, you should not show this, just my name :)
