Though even Yahoo has been trying hard but still these companies have not been able counter Microsoft. With its endeavor Google expects to create an impact on the markets of America, China and India. Earlier Google had offered Gmail via a wap page but it failed to impress.

You will get to see a lot of improvements in the new application. Its faster, you would experience no lag while accessing mails and it pre fetches messages in an automatic manner. Even its interface looks sleek and clean.
