Google and Sun team up to bowl out Microsoft

promise which might never get fulfilled but they proved me wrong. Now as a part of agreement between both the companies, Sun's StarOffice and Java software have started to appear in Google Pack which is a free software bundle offered by Google. Google Pack offers some of the popular software for free which includes names such as Norton, Adobe, Skype and Real Player. Earlier StarOffice was available for $70 but now it is available for free with Gooogle Pack. This partnership is being treated as an imminent threat to Microsoft on the desktop front where the company is offering competitive products in the market and the best thing about the products is that none of them is owned by Google though the company has started to offer its own office applications such as word processing and spreadsheet with a powerpoint application which will be launched soon. Since currently Google is a reckoning force in the market it seems to be a smart move by Sun to use Google as a means to topple Microsoft from its leadership position which it has been trying achieve since a number of years but has failed on every count.
