Google Launches Beta Version of Google AJAX Search API
Google has come up with a beta version of 0.1 of Google AJAX Search API and can be freely downloaded. The Javascript enables developers to create embedded search modules which can dynamically search over multiple Google media and includes the results directly alongside other website content such as a blog.

The company is not recommending the software currently for important websites and is asking for user feedback through a discussion board dedicated to the new program. Finally Google AJAX Search API would be integrated with advertising. This would enable users to share and apply video/web/map etc search results to content created on a given site. It seems that Google has learnt its lessons from Google Maps API.
