Filed in archive AJAX on November 17, 2006
Google has added Mac support to Google Web Toolkit 1.2 which is the latest version of its Ajax toolkit. Web application builders prefer it as it takes Java Code and compiles it into JavaScript. As Ajax comprises of JavaScript executing on XML data in the browser window therefore JavaScript is required for building Ajax features into the user interface.
The toolkit also resolves the disparity between Explorer, Apple Safari and open source Firefox browsers. Ajax programmers generally encounter problems due to browser differences while they make an effort towards building effective user interactions into their web applications.
In the Google Web Toolkit 1.2 you will experience enhanced widget enabling sophisticated user interfaces. It takes care of your worries as its converts your Java classes into browser compliant JavaScript and HTML and this is what makes this toolkit a popular Java development framework.
