In case you haven't used Cool Stack before then you need to since it can be put to use for optimizing various open source components such as ruby, PHP5, Apache 2 so that they can perform in the best possible manner on Solaris 10 OS. Those of you who are not aware about Cool Stack let me tell you that it is a collection for commonly used open source applications which can be optimized for Sun Solaris OS platform. Using it one can install PHP applications on top of web servers ensuring improved performance in terms of high scalability with optimized Cool Stack PHP 5.
