Is AJAX The Page View Killer?
AJAX, AJAX, AJAX! This is the buzzword around in the world of web and everybody seems to be implementing it in their websites. If market leaders such as Google and Yahoo use it then it adds weight to the technology and you can certainly see people running after AJAX nowadays.

The web 2.0 features that it offers have certainly created a craze for it. Though everybody might love it but I am not sure about the search engines and what about the page views which are regarded as a major criteria for attracting advertising to your site. Yahoo has already witnessed a decline in its page views and it uses AJAX.

There is no doubt that AJAX is here to stay but it would be too early to say that it will change the face of the web world. If something is not done I foresee simple HTML/CSS websites ruling the roostlinks again which are spider friendly and we are all here to earn money, aren't we?
