If the TechTarget report is to be believed, the demise of Java EE as a framework is imminent as it believes that the Latest releaselinks of Java EE is too complex to endure in the same world as lighter frameworks like Ruby on Rails. The failure of JEE5's to address the complexities is a signal of the Java EE platform's fall from dominance in the enterprise development platform arena. Organizations which are planning for new enterprise development should look elsewhere and plan for the sunset of Java EE as an enterprise solution.

If Sun keeps Java EE as a mono language platform it would be a fatal flaw. If Java EE platform is not opened, Linux is bound to win the battle as an operating system.

Thnx David
