Japan honored by Java Card Forum

Japan got to witness the success of first ever Java Card Open Day in the country and it was aimed at highlighting to the Japanese the sheer success of the Java Card and principles of the latest 3.0 technology. . Japan was chosen over others as it has witnessed a sort of revolution with respect to application segment. This technology dominates the mobile telecom sector and is put to use in the SIM and USIM cards and is being even extended to payment and content protection applications. With the technology operating on security model it enables multi applications to co exist on the same card and around three billion cards already have this technology which has positioned Java Cards as the most deployed smart technology up till date. Looks it wants to further woo Japan too.
