Java EE 5 Adoption to Be Hastened By Compatible Updates
The J2EE name has been replaced by the Java Enterprise Edition 5. It is being said that there won't be any serious Java EE 5 development work starting until compatible updates are delivered by major application server vendors.

Java EE 5 would be simplifying the overall Java development and one of the most prominent things about it is the Java Persistence API or JPA. You would see the adoption being hastened as top vendors would start moving quickly on Java EE 5 supportlinks.

Until and unless software support is there its adoption would be a bit difficult but this wont happen for too long as compatible updates would be shipped by early next year.
