Java Platform Standard Edition 6 Gets Java DB and Group Layout Component
As per the latest announcement from Sun Microsystems, it would be incorporating Java DB and Group Layout component from the NetBeans GUI Builder code named Project Matisse into the latest version of the Java Platform Standard Edition 6 Java Development Kit.
Java SE 6 technology is available at http://java.sun.com/javase/6. Developers can transit to this platform and experience the enhancements and expanded functionality of the Latest release. The final release is expected in the Fall of 2006. Also, the service programs have been expanded for Java SE 6 developers which range from programming specific advice to enterprise support with its Sun Developer Expert Assistance (DEA) Program and Sun Developer Service Plans (DSP).
