Java software package gets a major update to tackle bug menace

A major updation has been done to Java software package which includes numerous bug fixes and security updates. The java 6 Update 4 features a whopping 370 bug fixes. Though most of them are minor tweaks aimed at taking care of application glitches or enhancing performance but there are notable ones too which address security flaws.

Since 5.0 Update 6 and later have been installed on Windows platform applets get executed with the latest version of Java environment therefore users upgrading from recent versions need not delete older versions from their systems.
