JavaFX preview version makes it debut finally!!

It was announced at the Java One 2008 and everybody had been waiting with baited breath for its launch. Here comes the JavaFX in its preview version and it promises to carve out rich internet applications using Java platform. Besides the preview package it comes with NetBeans 6.1 IDE, Project Nile graphics tool and Runtime Environment plug-in (beta version). Using it developers will be able to create RIAs for mobile phones, gaming devices, desktops and range of other platforms.

Sun will be facing competition from the likes of Adobe Air and Microsoft Silverlight respectively but the company says that it will be fighting in the market putting to use the popularity of Java. In this highly competitive market Sun would definitely be waiting with baited breath for the review by the developers. Don't worry I will keep you abreast with the verdict on JavaFX.
