Come May and at the JavaOne Conference to be held in San Francisco Sun would be previewing JavaFX Script followed by 1.0 official version which would be making a mark pretty soon. With JavaFX Sun plans to deal with the problems surrounding Java on internet client.

Brian goetzlinks, Compiler Technology Lead, JavaFX Script stated:

With JavaFX Script, Sun is looking to overcome issues with Java on the Internet client. Developing these applications for the client with the Java that has been around since 1995 hasn't worked.

JavaFX Script clearly signifies that Sun is now focusing on the client side and this time it looks it won't budge. Client Java has made a re entry with JavaFX Script and with numerous tools around it would really become easy to write it. Seems Sun has finally arrived!!
