JavaFX to adorn the mobile world

Cell phones will get a spark in their lives as Sun has unveiled JavaFX which is a new member in their family for development of rich applications. Very few information has been imparted about the product since its still in the developing stages. Java enabled devices have something to cheer about as JavaFX Script which is in alpha stage would enable scripting language techniques to be used for building rich media content. The good news is that this scripting language will be unveiled in open source format along with free developer tools.

Sun knows that Java can really excel in the field of mobiles and their JavaFX Mobile product is a mobile operating and application deployment platform which would soon be visible in devices by 2008. All this has been based on intellectual property which was brought from SavaJe under a deal made few weeks back. It will be available under OEM license to handset manufacturers and cellular carriers. Lets hope everyone becomes mobile happy with Java.
