Dion tells us that the GData team has come up with GData JavaScript Client Library and this service as of now is available in Google Calendar. Up till now JavaScript API was being used to work on GData feeds from Google but at times one would like to access feeds requiring authentication or even write and update data in feeds.

This implies that now one can write rich Ajax client which does not require server side proxies and server less model is expected to see a rise with this. I solely agree with him and it looks Google has done a good job. .
