Look Forward To AJAX Friendly Orcas
For the Visual Studio Orcas tools platforms, Microsoft has planned AJAX friendly enhancements. The beta would be released in the first half of 2007 and would have integrated support for Microsoft's ASP.Net AJAX technology.

It would also be featuring JavaScript Intellisense functionality which offers coding assistance along with syntax checking. Also in the pipeline is JavaScript debugging support. Some of the other AJAX features planned for Orcas are a vastly improved HTML designer and rich CSS support. The company is also boosting its AJAX extender controls like extender for animation.

Also to be included in Orcas is a split view capability meant for design view and examination of source code at the similar time. Another thing planned is Net Language Integrated query. So look forward to it in the coming year.
