A number of smartphones are now incorporating browsers supporting AJAX and RSS. If we believe the prediction of ABI then the mobile open-internet browser segment is expected to become ten times that of the current figure of 76 million by 2013.

Even though web usage in cell phones is still pretty low when compared to PC based browsers but the future looks pretty bright and we will surely witness browsers and web services engines gain importance in the mobile world.
