More Mobile Features through Google Maps
Have you checked the latest version of Google Maps for mobile? It is a downloadable Java application which features live traffic updates and can save favorite locations and driving directions. The users of mobile phone would be able to customize the content which appears on the mobile version of their Google Personalized Homepage.

Users in the U.S. would be able to view comprehensive information on traffic conditions in more than thirty major metros and in order to garner information on traffic conditions in a particular area the user is required to move to the desired location within the application and select from the menu - show traffic and the user would get the most updated traffic information. The travel plans would become simpler as one would be able to see the expected drive time and any unexpected traffic delays.

Users can also save their favorite locations and frequently used driving directions for future use and these locations could be accessed at any time by pressing the * key on the mobile phone. Visit www.google.com/gmm from your phone's web browser in order to download Google Maps for mobile.
