MySQL and Java get engaged with an optimized bundle
Sun has already started to portray MySQL as its own as both MySQL and glassfish communities have come up with an optimized bundle comprising of MySQL JDBC driver 5.1.6, MySQL Community Server 5.0 and GlassFish version 2.0. What Sun has tried to offer with this bundle is a combo of open source enterprise Java and database which makes it easier to develop rich Java and web applications. It even offers GlassFish support for AJAX and Comet which are known to improve end user web experiences.
Available for major software platforms such as Linux, Solaris, Windows and Mac OS X it can be freely downloaded from here. After all MySQL will now be known by the name of Sun in the future!!
