At Oracle's OpenWorld 2009 conference this week, the company announced plans for a range of improvements in its middleware and business intelligence products.
"The firm announced the 'planned future releases' of Oracle JDeveloper 11g, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) 11g, Oracle WebLogic Suite 11g, Oracle SOA Suite 11g and Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g, components of Oracle Fusion Middleware," writes IT PRO's David Neal. "Pitched at developers looking to build rich, enterprise applications, the release will include new user interface (UI) components, including Carousel, which it claims has a look and feel rather similar to iTunes and Java and SOA suites."
