Poker with Ajax
GoldFire Studios has come up with PokerRPG which is being regarded as the world's first online poker role playing game. The unique thing about this poker game has been that it has been built into the website. As compared to other websites, this site does not require any plugins or downloads and offers the same poker table experience. For this all the credit goes to Ajax and the multiplayer poker system is Javscript which is being used as Ajax with a PHP backend.
The creator of PokerRPG has described this as an advanced chat system and making use of the main Ajax component of XMLHttp Request, the poker table updates all data displayed on the table every second or two while carrying out all sensitive game actions behind the scenes in the PHP providing a secure poker environment.
