Project Kenia: Open source hosting project of Sun
"We're More Than Just a Forge", this is what Project Kenia introduces itself as. It's the beta version of open source project hosting system from Sun Microsystems. Since Project Kenia includes the social networking angle therefore it has a slogan which states it's more than a forge. It is expected to become principal site for 750 open source projects of Sun.

Project Kenai is a Rail based application offering issue tracking and source code management. It is expected to add integrity to building up of traditional LAMP/SAMP web stacks. It enables you to choose from recommended OSI licenses at first so that you can choose from common license and ease license proliferation without affecting choice of the developers.

Since Project Kenai is in beta as of now it would require invitation for new projects. You can check more details out here.
