Here is the updated Java gaming SDK for mobile phones. This is SNAP Mobile SDK 2.0 which enables developers to create mobile javalinks based games on Java ME platform using Emulation Environment software and SNAP Mobile Client API libraries. You need to register with Nokia to get it.

So how is it 'different' from the earlier SDK? The improvements included are in terms of a new object oriented API and user interface framework which enables developers to add online capabilities to their games such as account log in, user registration and IM. You can also experience simplification in terms of writing and debugging Java games with lesser API calls to server. Compliance testing has been brought down to thirty minutes from the regular one hour time period. Nokia and Sun have worked together to make sure SNAP Mobile SDK gels with Sun Java Wireless Toolkit and NetBeans IDE.
