Sun Java Real-Time System 2.0 has been released by Sun which is a standards based extension of the Java platform which has been specifically designed for enabling developers gain control over Java software. It combines the best of abilities of Solaris 10 Operating System and Java platform. It would meet the growing needs of financial services, aerospace and scientific research.
With this software process priorities can be set as per their importance which up till now was not supported in Java software applications. The major points of this new version are:
