Sun wants to meet the needs of both enterprise and consumers therefore the company is remodeling the plug in architecture of Java in its latest update to Java Platform SE 6. So now even the consumer's interests would be kept in mind. With Java SE 6 update expected to be available by the end of this year it would be running applets in separate process than web browsers.

What else one will witness better scripting support and reliability with support for more powerful applications on the anvil. Vista interests would be kept into mind by including capabilities for signed applets with support for IE and Firefox browsers. The new plug in technology will be experienced through switch in the Java control panel. Their Update N is all about improving consumer experience so are you ready for it?
