Sun to Talk About AJAX at AJAXWorld Conference
At the AJAXWorld Conference and Expo to be held in Califonia next week, Sun Microsystems would be talking on accommodations for AJAX in the Java sphere. You would also get to know the latest developments on Project Phoboslinks and Project jMaki which are their open source efforts.

AJAX architect, Greg Murray stated that AJAX and Web 2.0 are of significance to Sun and when Java Standard Edition 6 is launched in 2007 it would be supporting JavaScript. Talking about their jMaki project, Java developers would be able to use JavaScript in Java applications as either a JSF component or JSP tag library on the other hand Project Phobos is a way of scripting server side code in JavaScript as compared to writing a JSP page or servlet. It is expected that Phobos and jMaki would be made as add-ons to the Java Enterprise Edition 5 platform.
