Ubuntu with its open source mobile OS has definitely raised standards and expectations as it would be providing gesture based touch commands coupled with Web 2.0 support and a chance to customize too.

Ubuntu Mobile interface has been reworked to give space to touch screen and just a single touch would launch menu or applications and a web page could be panned by finger swiping. Application developers and device manufacturers would experience enhanced control as Ubuntu Mobile allows interface development in Java, Python, Flash and HTML. There is also a complete AJAX fidelity support for Web 2.0 applications.

You all must be eager to know what would be the system requirements for Ubuntu mobile then let me tell you that it would include Intel Silverthorne processor, 2GB or more of flash or hard drive space and 256MB of RAM. Also you won't have to wait for too long as it will be released in 2008 itself.
