Version 1.2 of its Backbase AJAX Java Edition Released

Backbase has announced the improved version of its Backbase AJAX Java Edition. Called the Version 1.2 it encompasses extended functionality of the Eclipse WTP plug-in, improved client-side validation, UI components, and extended application server support.

Now let's see what all has been pepped up:

Eclipse version 3.2 and WTP version 1.5 which is an up gradation from Eclipse WTP plug-in enables developers to easily create projects, manage licenses and access documentation directly from Eclipse WTP. Next there is the fresh UI component wizard which enables simple creation of custom components and is based on Eclipse WTP. Next on the list is the popular context menu and one would also find improvement in client side validation and now has a configurable required property along with regular expressions of advanced client side validation. Lastly application server support has been extended. There has been an addition of Oracle 10g, BEA WebLogic 9.2, JBoss 4.0.4 and WebSphere 5.1.1. Most of the recent versions of major application servers are supported by Backbase AJAX Java Edition along with several older versions. You will find all these improvements accompanied with enhanced documentation.
