Virtualization hypervisor unveiled by Sun

Do you all know about hypervisor technology? If not then let me tell you that using this technology physical server can be partitioned into multiple virtual servers which could include OS and multiple applications. As per Sun xVM is the first virtualization technology based on hypervisor. xVM by Sun comes with a virtualization hypervisor, virtualization management tool, Sun xVM Server and xVM Ops Center.

As a result it would be possible to virtualize different datacenter assets which include network, storage, applications and hardware. Using hypervisor technology from Xen technology, xVM can virtualize and manage mixed environments which run on java, Windows, Open Solaris and Linux.
