When I first heard of the term POJO I had no idea what it could mean. After I asked someone what it meant I felt a little stupid for asking. We tend to over complicate even acronyms but we needed to call it something I guess.

Anyway the idea behind POJO programming sounded like a damn good idea to me. However, making that a reality seemed pretty farfetched based on my past experiences. That was however until I started learning about Spring and hibernate.

That brings me to why I'm writing this post in the first place. Over at Java Developer's Journal Christopher Richardson has written an article explaining POJO programming.
