Things to Come For Java
Just like many of the other computer programming languages, Java has seen many developments over the past years. Due to the rapid changes in computer technology, it is also anticipated that java will develop even further in the years to come.
However, it has been argued that the development of Java in the future will be limited by the specific business model of Oracle. Now that Oracle owns the Java technology after buying out Sun Microsystems, Oracle has been reorganizing the plans to develop Java. Oracle's road map for Java, however, have been criticized by some commentators for not addressing the complexity of the Java platform. This has added fears for java amidst its competition with Microsoft's .NET platform. Overall Java's future is still promising but it does have its limitations.
